SENATOR OBAMA:

WE THE UNDERSIGNED express our demand that you denounce publicly and unequivocally the smears by your supporters against a decorated American hero, General Jack Singlaub.

FURTHER, WE DEMAND that you call upon Democratic operative Paul Begala to apologize publicly to General Singlaub and the American people for his absurd and slanderous remarks about this brave American hero, General Singlaub.

SENATOR OBAMA:  If you desire to be Commander in Chief, yet allow these types of slanderous attacks against decorated American military heroes – all in the name of the politics of your supporters – then you will have already betrayed the American men and women in uniform.  In the name of country above politics, you must ACT NOW.
