Conservatives See "Collusion" Investigation as a "Witch Hunt"

Conservatives see the special counsel investigation into alleged collusion between Russia and the Trump campaign as nothing more than a witch hunt, according to a poll by FedUp PAC.

Almost 96% say that the investigation is “definitely a witch hunt”, while less than 4% believe it is “an honest attempt to get the facts without any political bias”.

Such a conclusion should not be surprising.  Congressional investigators have admitted that they have found no proof whatsoever of any collusion, and nor has it been revealed by any of the many leaks from hostile bureaucrats within the government.  None of the special counsel’s indictments have been related to collusion.  Frequent media announcements that a “smoking gun” has been found are inevitably followed by embarrassed retractions.

Concerns about a witch hunt have been fueled by the fact that special counsel Robert Mueller’s staff includes many known Democrats.  Those concerns were reinforced by the discovery that two of the investigators had been texting each other anti-Trump, pro-Clinton comments.

Conservatives have also called for a special counsel to investigate the known and verified connections between the Clinton campaign and Russians who provided alleged information derogatory to Trump, as well as the favoritism shown to Clinton Foundation donors who were using a campaign of bribery to purchase American uranium mines.

FedUp PAC is a grass roots organization that wants constitutional conservatives to take over the GOP because Americans are fed up with the Republican establishment.  It is not affiliated with any candidate or committee.
