Conservatives blame Republican establishment leaders in Congress for President Trump’s below average poll ratings according to a poll by FedUp PAC.

More than 98% blamed GOP leaders for not “aggressively defending Trump, instead of giving Democrats a monopoly in the media” for their attacks on the President.

Trump’s decision on DACA certainly demonstrated the problem seen by conservatives. When Democrats loudly denounced Trump for gradually ending the amnesty program, their message was reinforced rather than contradicted by much of the Republican reaction. House Speaker Paul Ryan spoke out in favor of DACA, as did the Chairman of the National Republican Senatorial Committee, Cory Gardner.

Trump faced a similar abandonment recently when he talked of using the threat of a government shutdown as a bargaining chip to force Democrats to reconsider their obstructionism. GOP congressional leaders quickly let it be known that they considered a shutdown unacceptable and would not support it.

FedUp PAC is a grass roots organization that wants constitutional conservatives to take over the GOP because Americans are fed up with the Republican establishment. It is not affiliated with any candidate or committee.
